Our one year review and 2025 plans
2024 was a great start and an enjoyable year
F2M was formed on the 19th January 2024 by Shaun McCarthy, nearly 1 year to the day. It has been such an enjoyable year and we have loved seeing the evolution of the club from day 1 to now. Looking back on our first year there have been some great first milestones:
February 2024 - www.football2music.co.uk goes live
April 2024 - Gained our first school contract
May 2024 - Hired our first coach
June 2024 - Hosted our first free open taster day
Sep 2024 - Started our Saturday development programme with just 10 children signed up
Dec 2024 - Hosted our first tournament and raised money for charity
At the start of 2025, 1 year on from when we officially formed (but only 4 months from starting our Saturday development programme) we have now achieved the following stats:
3 school contracts to who we provide with weekly sessions
26 customers registered to our weekly Saturday programme (equaling 1 new sign up each week)
3 new members on our coaching team
Helping over 70 children to be active every single week
Children and coaches posing for a picture at our first open taster day.
Now it’s time to “kick” on in 2025
Looking forward, Shaun and the team are ready to kick on and expand the F2M service, as a new year means new opportunities. Confirmed expansions for 2025 are:
Delivering F2M half term activity camps during school holidays (starting in February)
Bespoke birthday parties for your children's special day
New session for 8-10 years being added to the Saturday development programme (starting from the 11th January)
Recruiting a new Lead Football Coach to join our team (currently in progress)

Plans for business expansion whilst maintaining excellence
In addition to the confirmed expansions for 2025, we are also looking at other opportunities to grow F2M, to cover more areas of Milton Keynes, Bedford and wider. Other considerations are:
New school contracts (currently in discussion with 3 other schools)
Adding new days to our weekly programme (Sundays and/or midweek sessions)
New venues (currently assessing alternative areas, including a venue in London...)
Whilst we want to grow F2M and make it a household name in as many areas as possible, our main focus is ensuring that the services we are currently providing maintain their high levels of excellence. We will assess each opportunity as it comes along, but all aspects of a decision will be deeply considered before making any commitment.
